Poor Poochie

I was a bit sad leaving Limerick last week, as we had found some weird lumps on the beloved family pet Muffy and she was going to the vet. I was afraid, that as I was in Dublin all week, I may never see her again.
Anyhow my sister called me that evening following her visit to the vet with muff-a-luff. The vet had said the lumps were not unusual in a dog of muffys age and that there was a cure. He said the condition was best described as - a moment on the lips a lifetime on the hips...
Yes the dog has love handles! So now the poor thing is on an enforced diet of dried food.
She also has a cataract in one eye, but luckily she doesn't drive often. The other issue is her arthritus. Muffy is 11 which is 77 in dog years so these things are to be expected. Thank god she is ok though cos we were really worried there for a while.

Elvis impressario

Well everyone, I'm back. Just a quick blog before I leave the office this afternoon to drive to the exotic and fabulous location of Limerick!
I'm off early in order to try and get there in time for to be one of the judges at the Paddy Power sponsored Elvis Competition in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland.
It should be a lot of fun, the last time I sat in judgement in Limerick
(not including reading people on Saturday nights out) was at Miss Limerick 2004.
I'm sure the criteria are wildly similar! I expect to find at least a couple of them wearing sequins anyway.
It should prove to be a good night none the less. THe Munster Finalist will head off to Bundoran at the end of October for to take part in the Irish Final. THe guys are planning a great Las Vegas type festival in Bundoran Co. donegal for the grand finale! How glam....

September Sweetness

hey folks,
Just back in after a crazy summer. Loads of work going on, sparky was in Ireland distracting me and of course we went on a romantic holiday too.
The Good news is we didn't kill each other...I was a little worried about that.
I've made a new committment to myself to exercise more, eat less and blog more...

Just about...having a pretty hard time sleeping with a cough! The doctor says its a chest infection but I beg to differ. After all can you have three chest infections in six months?
I'm wrecked tried and feverish not probably the best way to blog. After all I can always put any crazy stories down to delirousness.
It's the time to unlay all my deeepest darkest secrets.
Or maybe not, going to take a bit more cough syrup and lull myself to sleep...
Way better option...

Been up the walls really since Dec2006, moved back to Ireland in Oct 07'
Working and living in Dublin now which is totally different.
Been very busy with family dramas etc but no realy news...back with Sparky can you believe it.
Anyway been really busy with work, settling back into life in Ireland.
Been very active in JCI Dublin where I am now Deputy President.

sorry folks been bad at blogging since i moved to casablanca
Well anyway its been pretty mental and the small company that I now work for has kept me travelling around the whole of the Middle East and Africa.
Been to Egypt, Dubai, Marrakech,Nigeria, Spain and Senegal.
Trying to also keep things going at home in Casablanca.
been discovering the city and met someone really really nice hes been helping me to improve my french among other things.
anyway im off to the emerald isle tommorrow book early to avoid dissappointment xhile im home
